Political Campaigns Today
The way these political campaigns are conducted today seems to be a waste of time unless, of course, you really like to shout all the time. First of all, there seems to be a lack of interest in listening to the other party. Perhaps the Democrats began it all when they put down everything George W. Bush has ever done. Perhaps the Republicans did it when they went after Clinton (although Clinton had some characteristics that would make it impossible to resist). Secondly, there seems to be a lack of a message, particularly on the Democratic side unless you consider "Bash Bush" as an adequate message. Lastly, everyone seems worried. All the frentic activity must be hiding something (did I begin a new conspiracy theory?).
